Cletus Kasady Vs. Carnage by ProfessorAdagio Cletus Kasady Vs. Carnage by ProfessorAdagio

Please note, the image above is the result of my fan edit/manipulation which is my attempt at making the image have a different look and feel to the original. The original work can be found in the link below.

Cletus Kasady is a psychopath and a homicidal sadist. Kasady is a deeply disturbed individual with a dark past: as a child, he killed his grandmother by pushing her down a flight of stairs, tried to murder his mother by tossing a television into her bathtub, and tortured and killed his mother's dog. After the latter, his mother then tried to kill Cletus, and was apparently beaten to the brink of death by Kasady's father, who received no defense from Kasady during his trial. As an orphan, Kasady was sent to the St. Estes Home for Boys, where his antisocial behavior made him the target of abuse from both the other orphans and the staff. Kasady gained revenge by murdering the disciplinarian administrator, pushing a girl (who laughed at him for asking her to date him) in front of a moving bus, and burning down the orphanage. It was during his brutal years at St. Estes that Kasady acquired his philosophy that life was essentially meaningless and futile, that "laws are only words",[9] and came to see the spreading of chaos through random, unpatterned bloodshed as "the ultimate freedom."[10]

Kasady became a serial killer. He was then captured and sent to Ryker's Island prison for 11 murders—though he bragged of a dozen more[11]—where he shared a cell with Eddie Brock, who had lost the alien symbiote that transformed him into the supervillain Venom. Brock's symbiote soon returned and bonded with him again, and unwittingly left behind the symbiote's offspring. The new symbiote then entered Kasady's bloodstream through a cut and bonded with his blood, transforming him into Carnage.[12] He escaped prison,[13] and began a series of murders, and at the scene of each crime, wrote "Carnage" on the walls with his own blood. He was found by Spider-Man, though the hero proved to be no match for Carnage's powers. In desperation, Spider-Man made a truce with Venom to fight Carnage.[11] Carnage was defeated with sonic weaponry, but the symbiote lived on because it is merged with Kasady's bloodstream.

I Really like the Pic then I saw a bunch of your other deveations and they were all the same, the worst part being the WAY TO BRIGHT lens flares in all the eyes flares are good for like a shine on a gun or sword....  Or if your gonna do it in the eyes you definatly need to turn the power WAY down, you can't even see thier faces anymore.  Just My opinon!

This is from Superior Carnage #1.   Sorry if I don't get it but, what did you do ?

Yes that's the origin. I used multiple programs to alter it to how I think it should look. I cleared some parts that looked dirty, gave it a darker edge and added various shades and glows that I feel makes the character show what he's all about. I also used various layers of the image to add a smooth texture while at the same time having it jump right out at you.

You do realize you can be sued for this repeatedly for every picture you copy out of a comic book, tracing it or altering is marginally will have no bearing, it need only be reasonably recognizable and you can be held liable.
You should probably read up on what dA has written in the FAQ concerning copyright. You'll see just how much you're in violation.
Legally every view it gets including corresponding views it may get from your watchers reposting it in alternate forums, each view could count at the cost of a single comic book. 1 million views, 5 million dollars. In what you've posted so far, Marvel already owns your first house, and yes they can quite literally already take it if they want it at this point. You won't win in court. And it's not like they won't notice with your art topping the 24 hour popular views every day in tandem, and with dA littered with freelance comic artists whom work for marvel, how long before you directly copy their work and get reported to marvel "by an angry  artist"? As soon as dA gets a letter from a lawyer they give all the info on you they have.

Don't worry. All art and the respective characters are created by Stan Lee. DC Comics I guess the person who owns that owns the characters. All my works are simply images from Comic Book Covers or from inside a Comic. I just made my own version of them which look very different of the original. For some I have provided links to the original in the Description. Others I could not find the original and of course I will try to hunt down. It's not like I'm not giving credit. :)
